EARTH DAY GINKGO WALK
April 22- 3 pm
Experience the joy of nature through this Ancient meditative technique of Ginkgo Walking on this very special Earth Day! You will be on a guided stroll of the farm to experience whatever nature presents to you (including rain!) to enrich your relationship with nature and how it speaks to you. After nature journaling we reflect on what inspired you and create Haiku Poetry. No art or poetry experience required.
HERBAL WISDOM TEA PARTY
May 13th- 3 pm
In the spirit of Adelma Simmons from Capriland Herb Gardens in Coventry, my inspiration for starting to learn about herbalism and having this farm genre for teaching, we will explore the benefits of herbs and keep things real about what you can easily grow and use! I will also share with you special china and tea sets to go along your tea experience! Participants will receive educational lecture, handout, fresh herbal tea and some herbs for home use.
YOGA ON THE FARM
Welcome to the farm to begin your natural self-care journey! Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while breathing, stretching and moving your body in a gentle way to restore and strengthen your mind and body. Instructor Nancy Boudrea will peacefully guide you towards personal healing.
GRAPEVINE DREAMCATCHER WORKSHOP
March 25th @ 1 pm
Every winter we need to prune the grape arbor which gifts us material to use for arts and crafts on the farm. Choose from the available grapevine kits that contain gemstone crystal and pearl beads, feathers, suede cord, and sinew. More materials are on hand if needed. Debra will lead you through the craft of making a dream catcher with storytelling, sea sipping and guidance for you to have a dreamcatcher of your very own!
BACKYARD RETREATS AT JHFA
Customize your own backyard retreat or event for private group gatherings. Select from the a la carte menu to begin planning your restorative event!
EARTHING or FOREST BATHING- Engage the healing power of nature's electrons. Earthing equipment for indoor experience is available.
SOUND BOWL HEALING & HARMONICS- Healing vibrations from crystal bowls, tuning forks and harmonic music permeate the body for positive change.
LABYRINTH EXPERIENCE- The Ancient practice of walking the labyrinth allows for spiritual centering, contemplation and prayer. This experience is transformational to let go and begin anew. Suitable for groups less than 20.
MINDFULNESS MEDITATION- The art of mindful meditation is beneficial for everyone! Breathwork, guided imagery and releasing techniques restore peace and harmony.
GINKGO WALKS- Nature walk that includes the art of nature journaling and Haiku poetry. Begins and ends as a group, leaving time for individual wandering and creating. Everyone goes home with a finished piece.
GEMSTONE HEALING AROMATHERAPY BRACELETS- Create a healing bracelet using the principles of certain gems and the healing power of aromatherapy. Everyone goes home with a finished piece.

Letting nature inspire us, we take a walk in the field and do nature journaling for whatever catches our eye. You will be provided a writing and art prompt based on the season and guidelines for creating Haiku Poetry to go along with your sketch and create a work of art by the time that you are done!
Limited to 10 participants- Pre-registration required. Drawing Materials provided.
Dress for the Weather- class will be post-poned to following month if rain.
GEMSTONE DREAMCATCHER CLASS
November 5th at 10 am
Learn the artform of making a dreamcatcher. Kits include all the supplies needed, you may not finish your creation during the class but can come back when farm stand is open for any questions or troubleshooting.
Gemstone, crystal & pearl dream catcher kits come with our own grapevine hoop approx 12” complete with sinew, feather, druzy quartz pendant and leather wrapping. [based on availability]
